Team Happenings: Christmas picture

So Kay, Emily, Randy and I took a few VP3 team pictures yesterday for this year's Christmas card. It was an enjoyable and harmless process, for the most part. After getting back to the office and batting around our opinions on which one would be "the chosen picture," I found myself thankful yet again for our team. It reminded me of one of the quotes that is in Stage 2 of our Equipping Experience process. Professor Eddie Gibbs of Fuller Seminary states, "Leadership is about connecting, not controlling." He continues,

"It is about bringing people together for the purpose of creative synergy. Because the information age is fast-paced and knowledge and experience are highly diversified, leaders...recognize their need to operate in a team context. Team-based ministry allows them to draw strength from each other and to contribute to the common good from their God-endowed gifts and life experience."

We continue to recognize that our work together is one of God's gifts to us as we seek to develop and provide transformative and in-depth processes that can help churches invest in the maturing of their adult believers and leaders. Thankful for the team...

Hi ministry support team,

The pictures are great. Thank you for these updates and thoughts. I look to you folks as being part of my ministry support team.

I would like to offer a study group in Watertown as an extention of a church plant the Lord has called Jan and I to do.

Can you guide me into a way that I could offer this to the Watertown community? How could I advertise, could I start in Febuary, could I offer it as a course at Lake Area Technical Institute, and so on.

In His care,
Carl
